Just unboxed it, stunning. Can't wait to test it out.

That's a magnificent model. We all envy you.
And to think it's only one of seven painted that way in the production run!
That is certainly a thing of beauty. Enjoy!
Mine arrived today, in the gray green boiler color called "light Russian" which is very close to GN gray green. Quite frankly, the detail is stunning and intimidating. Very fragile. It's definitely the engine to run on my carpet shoe level Christmas layout when my serious RR modeling friends (ages late 60's and 70's) are here, not when the neighbor kids are here. The loco comes with stern warnings reminiscent of patient informed consent documents rather encouraging the owner NOT to use the smoke unit. I could not find a cut off in the instructions cited or haven't yet so I guess it runs constantly without damage, like old Lionel. The locations left and right of the conventional-off-tmcc switch and the chuff rate switch are backwards in the instructions book. The weight is astonishing. The loco has to weigh 7-8 lbs and the tender a couple more. In fact I have concern with this weight it's going to be "interesting" with Fastrak lying on carpet. I remember people remarking a Lionel 736 could make the floor rumble so this one ought to shake the foundation. It's a real treasure and just a wonder to this T&P fanatic. Puts the three HO brass 2-10-4s I've owned thoroughly in the shade. Hopefully will test run on a friend's O-72 layout this weekend....!
That is a great looking engine.
