Hi. Just picked one of these up. Wasn't rotating very well. Pulled it apart to see how it works. I see it's a rubber hose chunk on the end of the rotating rod. Any secret to making it work better? I'm gonna get a slightly bigger (and new, softer chunk of hose from auto store) tomorrow. It should grab better then, but I'm open to hear more tips. I also see the metal plate where the rubber makes contact appears to have been brushed with some sort of paint. I assume to up the friction at contact.
What can ya tell me?
