Great video. Just finished watching Trains and Locomotives program on RFD-TV about the 1990 NRHS St. Louis Convention that brought together Cotton Belt 4-8-4, UP #844, and N&W 1218. Once again the 1218 is a beauty, but that single chime hooter makes my teeth hurt.

LOL... That was a great convention.
The 765's tool car, RPCX 701, is a former US Army Kitchen Car, No. 89665, built by St. Louis Car Co. in 1953. It was acquired from the Kentucky Railway Museum in about 1979. It was never owned by Amtrak as many of these cars were. It is 55 feet long.
