The York Primer has been updated for the October Meet. See the link in the post in the Featured Topics above.
Got my badges for the Wife and I on Friday. I started wearing my badge today to get in practice of showing it at all the doors.
Got our tickets, hotel reservation and ready to go to our 20th and final ED York event. I am following through on my intended resignation from the TCA for 2015. Its been a long association since 1979 but IMO the dues are no longer a good value for the priviledge to attend York and for a skinny uninteresting magazine.
It's not worth a $15.00 increase?, there must be another reason.
It looks like I am going to miss York this fall due to some health issues, the surgeon's are sharpening their scalpels now, but I am looking forward to the 2015 Spring York!
Sorry to hear that Paul. Hope to see you in April.
Paul we will miss you!!! Well say a prayer for you!!!!
Thanks Don, your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.
Wishing you a successful procedure and a speedy recovery, Paul. Doctors these days do some great work, as I can well attest. All the best to you.
Dang it Paul, who am I supposed to hang out with
Will be there for my 60th straight time. Always a fun time.

I was really looking forward to seeing you. You'll be in my prayers. Perhaps Oct 2015.
FWIW, I drank my last Natty Boh last night. Time for a stop at Shrewsbury! I milked those 7 cases as far as I could!

Paul,
Hope all goes well. We're thinking about you my friend.
Paul,
Take care and you will be all rested and ready for April!
Eddie:
It is getting so close, are you able to sleep at night.
Hope it doesn't snow.
You'll be there in spirit, Paul. We'll keep an open chair and a Margarita glass on the table for you at Tuesday's on Thursday.
Paul
Take a look at yer NB picture and know you'll be there in spirit!
There is an elementary school nearby our house, and when they make announcements after lunchtime for the kids to come back into school, it echoes through the neighborhood just like they do at the York Fairgrounds!!
I can hardly wait!
Paul, you know how much we love to see you. We are all pulling for you as you have done for many of us. Myself included. You have been a great help to me. We will talk before York. Send me your parts list and I will get anything you need.
Hope it doesn't snow.
There's a joke in there that is just dying to be told..... Can't wait to catch up @ Tuesdays!

We've hit snow a few times over the years, I forget whether the most recent time was October 2013 or 1012.
I think fog and severe rain storms are more common along the route we take.
BURFLE, I will see you at Alan Rubin's table at 1PM on Thursday.
Thanks for all the well wishes my friends, I WILL be at York again in April 2015! Have a great time and raise a glass for all that can't be there.
Get well Paul. We will see you in the spring!
Just made my list. One stop at Shrewsbury for $100 of Natty Boh, and on to York!

"Eddie when he come's running in the gate in his speedo with the ceremony torch in hand"
I just can't get my mind wrapped around this potential photo. Just as well.

Eddie in a speedo? Something about this just sounds so wrong.
I can't wait. No, not for the speedo, rather for a few days off work.
Coworker is now taking off the week before I leave for York so I'm really going to get overloaded at the office.
What time does check in occur. My guest needs to go there first.

Eddie: Simple decision. I judge the TCA to not be worth $50/yr. They are just not competitive with the other clubs that hold my memberships. I'd still like to attend York but will not be held hostage by the TCA. I can live happily without being TCA member 79-14659. What I will miss are seeing all of the great folks.
Paul: Get better soon and get back to where the fun and action is.
