Really well done video! Great looking layout.
Thanks Rusty. It is nice to see a video without crew chatter, smoke galore, no overly loud sounds and above all no constant bell and horn.
Just let a nice looking train and nice scenery do the talking.
Great video, but... -- I do wish that folks trying to shoot videos on a camera phone would avail themselves of cell phone holders that have the usual 1/4-20 threading to mount to a camera tripod. One can still pan and zoom but it'll stop the bouncing. this particular video isn't too bad in that regard, but the overall great quality of the layout and train and the shoot makes the vertical bouncing a bit more noticeable. Now if we could only stop fix the posting of folks chasing trains around a club layout where the focus is "aspirational", the vertical bounce is floor to ceiling and the pan is the opposite of "smooth"...
The curved portion of trackage behind a low berm on a layout corner [with just the top of the train visible] looks great! I just might use this idea on my own layout.
