The SETCA has held its 1st day of a 2 day train show this Saturday 5/30/15 and will continue tomorrow Sunday 5/31/15.  This was a combined meet with the LCCA.  This is also a first for the two organizations to hold a show together as stated by our SETCA President, Ken Mitchell.  There were plenty of trains to see, buy, run and ride (for the kids). From the smiles that I saw, everybody attending had a great time, especially the children. Please enjoy the photos below:

Steve, thanks for the pictures.  I miss the SE shows.  I spent 11 of my 37 Army years at Bragg.  I attended many of the TCA shows starting with the Sears meeting hall in a Raleigh mall, circa 1978.  That's where I met Al Rucchio and many other old time TCA members like Rudy King and Grandville Tillman.

Some shows were in Spartinberg (sp) and various other halls before the fairgrounds Scott building became the standard.

Tommy Daniels, Fayetteville, attended many of the later shows with me.  He was both a Lionel wholesaler and retail reseller.

I learned a lot in my early collecting endeavors from the fine members of the SE division.

Steve, Great pictures and videos of the TCA show this weekend.  Thank you for posting.

It was great to see you and other forum and TCA members there.  The building was packed with trains and layouts and lots of kids.

The two Fastrack modular groups that combined their layouts into one were a big hit especially with the Lionel Vision Big Boy running much of the time.

Happy railroading,

Don
