Wow, someone likes bikes and beer'...😁🍺.. Nice shot Dallas'...✔👍

Well Ted......after getting out of the Army in '70 I guess I  found MCs exciting and kept it up.

As far as beer ,well, I liked the beer trains I've seen on the various Forum members photos and videos so buying inexpensive tank cars and removing bottle labels allowed me to have fun puting a beer train together.

As a side bar the two doctors I've dealt with both said a beer or two a day  would probably be a good thing for a person to have.

Dallas, the snow will return with force pretty soon...I've figured out how to use the paint program...maybe, lol...Santa may make an appearance too!

So we have LIFT OFF  Paul.......maybe ?      Are there going to be ELVES with Santa ?  😁

Really though, does the paint program show FALLING  SNOW  ?       I thought that Ted's falling rain video was pretty interesting .

If  the program shows falling snow there could be an interesting variant to have fun with . 🤔

Gentlemen', I've been reminded by the Forum standards,  please stay on focus of the thread.  Post and comment on the photographs only.... No personal commentaries.. We don't want the thread shut down, or posts deleted...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUED COOPERATION!!  IT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!.....👍😁

Sorry.    Not sure where I strayed Ted

Good looking lighting on the figures on the left gets us right in the photo.

Then the lighting in the windows is just enough to liven the scene without distracting from those figures .

Nice 👌

Indeed this is a beautiful shot'.... Very nice'... The signage shots add to the interest and have a the neon effect'... Makes the scene alive'..✔👍

Really nice looking low diffused light on these before sunrise and for the night shift scenes Randy.  😎

If I may ask , how did you achieve the low light and still show the action so well ?

Nice 👍

@Dallas Joseph

Dallas:

Thank you for your kind words.

These are old photos taken with a very limited, low resolution, digital camera. As I remember, the flash bulb did not fire on these pictures and accidentally created the "low diffused lighting. The action is due to the way my son arranges layout figures so that each scene tells some kind of story.

Pre-holiday activity on North Main...the temps are still holding up there for November...

Paul, this is an excellent night shot!  You've adjusted the aperture and depth of field perfectly'... Now, this is what I call a real quality photograph.  One of your best'

Keep up the good work'.... AND THANK YOU FOR YOU FOR THIS TERRIFIC CONTRIBUTION'....😃 TO THE THREAD'........

Around these parts we call this effect a "snow squall"...that is when heavy snow comes out of the blue and is heavy as can be for a little while and then stops!  My first attempt with the 3D Effects program  I think I've got some work to do...lol, but thought I'd share my novice results...

🎵 Sleigh bells ring.......🎶........are you listening .......🎶....In the lane

It certainly looks like you are well on your way Paul. What kind of process were you able to use for the scene ?

Dallas, I used the 3D Paint program on the menu bar with Windows 10...I believe it's the one Tedd mentioned.  Still have some work to do but had fun creating the first snow storm of the season here

I've got to go back in time and re-learn how to do what  many refer to as a "color splash," where some color remains in a black and white picture...

Dallas, I'm  working on improving my skill with the "pencil" in the 3D Paint program in Windows 10...takes some practice for sure.  Figured out how you made the deeper snow effect in your snow picture.  You inspired me to look around and experiment with the process!  Thank you...

Seems Ted has found away to insert a "falling" snow (literally)  over a still pic...leave it to Ted to figure it out
