On this Veterans Day 11/11/24 take a moment to pay homage to those that gave everything. Demand of your elected representatives that they provide the absolute best care for those that came home with devastating injuries to mind and body. Here is my train to salute all our veterans.

Have a great Veteran's Day men and woman who served our great country!  My wife and I are celebrating this special day by having two vets and their wives for dinner today...both from the Vietnam era...one Air Force and one Coast Guard.  I better get off this PC and start helping with the prep work for our guests...

I had a friend in high school that said he was going into the Navy where it was safe. During a fire fight in Vietnam someone yelled for a corpsman (medic) and guess who showed up. I went into the Marines and he went into the Navy and they made him a corpsman. The Marines didn't have medics. They had it worse because they had to live with us and run around under fire patching people up. Hats off to all that served.

Well, I was on an aircraft carrier, they went the extra mile to keep us safe.  I didn't have to dodge any bullets, and I tip my hat to those that were not so lucky!

Hill 881, Hill Fights, DMZ and I was in Dong Ha once or twice. We operated off of the LPH aircraft carriers USS Tripoli and the USS Princeton before that.

Just wondered jon. 🤔

We had a gun battery at Con Thein on the DMZ that we made many runs to after running south to Quang Tri for ammo   .I thought the 3rd Marines had people at ConThien .

God Speed sir.
