I just popped in today to see if the Acton Model Railroad Center had used Dremel tools and to my sadness learned that this fine LHS is closing tomorrow. It is the second oldest in the state. I think the hours are 9:30-4:00 or so and it coincides with the state sales holiday.
To support them, I picked up two used Atlas Pennsy box cars. There's still a Lionel Texas Holdem car left in O gauge, some 10" straight Fasttrack, some sets of 36" curved track, and transition track sections. There may also be some older O scale accessories but they never had very much in O scale. There's also some brass sheets and odds and ends for crafting/modeling.
They have a large table top of used Lionel and American Flyer S gauge engines and rolling stock, track, and accessories. There are also HO and N scale trains and accessories. I had to restrain myself from adding a new scale! I think the new and used books are half price and the other items 25-30% off. Sorry I wasn't paying too much attention as I was so surprised. The guys there are really nice and helped me learn a couple of useful things.
It's sad to see them close up shop. I understand they gave classes in scenery for Ho enthusiasts. Drop on in if you are in the area tomorrow and wish them well.
