Would like to add a switching yard for my DCS trains, onto an over-n-under 140' loop of tubular O. Everything runs hunky-dory right now with three engines and I'm concerned about some of the continuity and remote control problems I've read about here and elsewhere. I intend to speak to the Ross guys at York. Anything in particular that anyone recommends up front to maintain my good DCS operation? I just want simple switching, nothing programmed or sophisticated. Ross switch motors or? Auxilliary power to the yard? Or just run home-run wiring? Thanks for any suggestions.

Cautiously waiting,    Wally

I run Ross switches with my tubular track.  I user the proper shim under the switch and use mating pins.  I have 68 of them.  I hand file the rail tops smooth.    Steve presented me with the first tubular switch he ever made.  I haunted him for years and bribed him with a few cold beers to make them.
