If you were there in Oct, you should already know....jim
I was there in Oct. but I don't know. I thought that they had increased the price for April. Anyone who registered in Oct. would know. Pretty simple Q.
Registration for April 2016
Advance Member $14
Advance Senior and Disabled $8
Spouse $2
All registration after March 01 $22
Thankyou B&O. I emailed Debbie G. and she gave me the answer this afternoon, and you are correct.
I'll wait until the last minute to see if I'm still alive.
Hopefully someone will post when the advance registration is up. I plan to be alive and attend.

April 2016 will be my first York. I am excited. I was planning to arrive late Wednesday evening and stay through Friday evening. By not staying later or arriving earlier will I be missing anything?

You won't be missing a lot. Saturday is very slow, but can be a great time for hunting last-minute bargains. There are some activities before the TCA meet, like the bandit meets and the TCA Museum presentation on Wednesday and the DCS meeting Wednesday night.
Thursdays and Fridays are the heart of the meet and are the best days not to miss.

Hi - Anyone have an idea when the on-line registration will be up ?? Clicking on the above link gives a message that a new site will be up. Thanks
Thanks for the info on Wednesday and Saturday. I made reservations at the Wyndam Garden which seemed to be where some stuff was held last year. I am coming with whole family and it looks like the pool will keep kids happy. (Ages 3 and 1.5)
May miss this one due to trip to Florida a few weeks before. Hey, somebody has to run 'the farm'.

You and me both Bill! Have reservations for the Ritz Carlton the weekend of York in Florida.....Ritz vs York...hmmmm
Are they mailing anything out? Will not register on line.
I got tired of waiting for the website to be up so I mailed in my registration two days ago. It was a little extra work but I know it's done and don't have to worry about the deadline where the price goes up.

Yes, they always mail out a York booklet before the show. If you don't normally get one you can use the form in the last issue of the TCA Headquarters News. That's what I did. I didn't even realize the form was there until a friend told me about it.
Just checked, it's up now.
Done! Registered online.
For the last two Yorks, I pre-registered for the next York on site. I plan on doing this from now on. Wondering when the online registration will be available or when the registration booklet will arrive are now one less thing I have to worry about.
It also means I can just concentrate on paying attention to EddieG's York Countdown posts and anxiously awaiting the next York.
Andy
Did they send out the fliers yet?
Advance Registration web page is up. www.yorkregistration.org
Latest flyer has not been posted yet. I suspect it will be mailed out early February. Not an official announcement just my best guess.

Are you getting a free buggy whip with your mailed-in registration?
Seriously, there is absolutely no reason to fear doing something like this on-line any more. All the security scares of a few years ago were vastly overblown and are essentially non-existent now anyway.
Better get used to it because it is the 21st century way of doing business. I cannot recall the last time I ordered something or signed up for something via regular mail or via phone. I do everything on-line now, even my banking. No problems at all and it is so much easier than licking envelopes and sticking stamps on them.

what a baby!!!
you did not state where you had looked and when no one else answered I gave you an answer and you come back and crap on my post. What kind of human does that? if you did not want that kind of an answer why didn't you give more info first?
I can not read your mind to know where you looked or if you were even at York so I answered the word I read!

He was practicing ? There are two threads regarding replying with quotes, seems some folks aren't sure how to do it with edits.

You are right, it's easily worth $8 per building per day. Compared to a typical show in a school gym, the Eastern Division is just giving it away.....
Be advised that there is one change in registration fees, which may or may not have been addressed elsewhere.
In the past, registration for spouse/significant other was free.
The current registration form shows a $2 fee. Probably best to check carefully before mailing or submitting!
Good afternoon, I have a question about on site registration for this spring show.
I will not know if my wife and I will be able to attend until most likely Thursday evening.
Is it a hassle to register at the show on Friday ???
I have always preregistered but this spring work season is going to busy hectic so it may be a last minute decision whether we attend.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance !!!!!
Mark
For what it's worth. I just registered this AM and the site states badges will be mailed out prior to April 3, If not to call.
With that said I think you could still get it done on line Thursday. It's 25 dollars total.
Good luck
Larry.
Good afternoon Larry, what I meant was the evening Thursday, April 14 2016.
By the time the afternoon rolls around on the14th will determine if my wife and I are going to attend.
It is about a 3 1/2, to 4 hour drive for us so traveling to York is not a big deal.
I just don't want to spend two hours in line on Friday 15th waiting to get registered when I could be shopping.
Thanks for the reply though !!!!
Mark, I had to wait in line once back in the 90s and promised I would never do that again. I go ahead and register in the hopes that I can go. The $20 or so is worth the gamble versus having to wait in line to register. But if you are registering on Friday then the show will be in its second day and probably not that much of a hassle. Just depends how much you value your shopping time and experience.
Sent my registration fee of $9.50 in on Feb 19 2016 via online registration and have NOT received my badge yet. Did they send badges out yet? I did email the registrar but didn't hear back yet.
Rick
WOW!!!! Rick FEB!
Sure don't like to hear that.
I did not get to register on line until a few weeks ago and been crossing my fingers that I would get it before the meet.
Only going to be there Thursday and hope not to stand in line .
Oh well
Larry

Got my badge at least a month ago. I'd start making phone calls to hopefully avoid waiting in line.
