Advice needed on 6560 Crane

I would like to run my 6560 Crane in conjunction with the 6419 work caboose as shown in the attached photo, but am concerned about the crane boom moving around. Does anyone have any ideas (or experience) on how to stabilize the crane so it doesn't swing out of the right0of0way>

One person's solution was to put a magnet in the bed of the work caboose, and lower the crane hook so it stays in place.
