I wired an operating Passenger Station to an AIU, following the steps/diagram of the DCS Companion. When I activate the station via the AIU, the platform raises partway and immediately drops back down. After checking & rechecking the wiring, I deleted the station and re-attached it to a different accessory output of the AIU, same problem. I then wired the same station to the Manuel switch, works fine.
any ideas from folks is appreciated! Power is from a Z4000 14 volt accessory output.

One thing that I can tell you for certain is that if the station is wired to both the AIU and its own controller at the same time, it simply will not work properly. You can wire it to one or the other, but not both.
Thanks for the reply Barry. I did not have them wired together at the same time. Just ensure the platform was working I tried it with the switch alone.

This has really got me perplexed. I wired the platform to a second AIU and got the same result.
I wonder if there is a limit switch in the station that is out of adjustment ?
I don't think it would work manually if the limit was wrong. Maybe it is overloading the AIU amperage capacity on the way up.

i missed an update several years ago which would’ve fixed this issue. Newer TIUs are fine and don’t need the update. Acc ports 1-6 would not operate properly, causing the problem discribed above.

When that upgrade was released I was in a move, therefore my layout was down for about 3 yrs - so I missed this one. My DCS is currently at 6.10, so if a person happens to miss one like I did several years earlier - the latest upgrade won’t catch you up?

You can skip any DCS upgrade and go from the oldest directly to the newest without any ill effects. However, if you go from any DCS 2.x release to any DCS 3.x or higher release, it's mandatory to reset both the TIU and the remote directly after doing the upgrade.
