(All aboard!!! 10 days til pitchers and catchers)
Maybe true, however local groundhog heroine Middletown Millie says: don't take off those snow tires yet!
Worse model of Fenway Park I have ever seen
It is a 10" deep building front that I made to go up against the city backdrop that I'm working on.
The New York Central Hudson Division tracks ran right in front of the old Yankee Stadium along the Harlem River. Where the Yankees play now is a bit further removed.
Beautiful job skip, will look wonderful on your layout. Can't wait for Spring Training.
Skip Great job. Now you need the El Line and the Court house to complete the scene
Steve
Sounds as if the six months of boring is coming.

Ahh, must be an Astros fan!
Nice job Skip! I love seeing ballparks on layouts. GO PHILLIES!!
Did you make that from scratch?
Thanks, Skip. Amazing rendition of the stadium - great job!
Really overshadows this place on my layout (but then again, wasn't that always the truth back in the old days too!)

Skip....it looks like it is perhaps a series of printed photos mounted on....???? Looks great..can you give more details?
Thanks,
Alan
Yes Eddie, I made it from scratch. As Alan astutely commented, they are individual panels, but not photos. I drew them using Microsoft Paint and printed them. I then mounted them on foam-board.
This is actually a practice mock-up. I plan on using Masonite on the actual model that will be part of my backdrop. The final version will be better.

Better???!!! WOW, can't wait to see that!
Would you mind posting a picture of the back side so we can see how it all holds together? Thanks!

Skip . . . . . You made my neighborhood look good.
Now if we can just get rid of A-Rod . . . . .

I wasn't going to say anything, but since you mentioned it, only A-Fraud? What about the rest of your Mariner old timers?
Ok, got the table saw out today and put together the permanent Masonite Yankee Stadium for my layout in progress. Took these photos with it in front of my Christmas Layout.
Thanks for all your kind comments yesterday! You inspired me to keep going and get it done.

As a Yankee fan I think this is the beginning of the end for the Yankees. Too old, A-Rod, weak farm system, and everyone expect Jeter is a free agent after the season.
Great models of Yankee Stadium by the way.
Hay Skip, LETS GO METS !!! Bill Seader
One Yankee fan to another, GREAT JOB.

Eagerly awaiting opening day! At which some point the Mets will be mathematically eliminated
Times two here (even though I'm now in Missouri - though most on the American League side of this state would agree with me), but it truly is an amazing piece of work.
Cannot wait for baseball season. My beloved Tribe has their first spring training game in just 19 days!
