If it's not too late, I'll join in again too.
Never too late Brian.
Just don't get their too late. Otherwise John will think you're not there!
You better be on time Dave, that's all I have to say.
I'm afraid I have to skip tomorrow, and hope to go up on Sunday. My brother needs some help at his shop, and I really can't turn him down.
I will be doing my normal drive-by. I understand they're installing a track pan so I can pick up coffee on the fly without stopping. I have to stay on schedule!
Who's the ATMA union rep?
Ted, the term "drive by" is a scary term these days. Lol
I'm in! See you at breakfast!
Sorry for the late response. I didn't hear about this until recently.
Great. There is no deadline. Anybody reading this tonight and can get to the HamFam in Allentown is welcome.

I'm setting my alarm clock now!

I'm probably going, coming from Northern VA. I don't want to get up before 4am, so I won't make breakfast, but do want to get in and out early. I assume I can swing by the restaurant at some point before 8am and pick up an early ticket? Dave

We usually leave around 7:45 or so for the show so as long as you get there by then you'll be able to get a ticket. Show is 2 minutes away from the restaurant.

Well, it's now 4:21 AM. Just leaving Philly now for the drive up. See all of you soon.
Looking forward to seeing the group pic later today!
Peter
Left Bristow, VA area around 4:11am.
Thanks for the ticket! Sorry I ran in, paid, and left. I was wearing the University of Illinois sweatshirt and arrived about 7:48am. I was a little flustered from running out of gas! Yes. Essentially ran out of gas with 10 miles to go. I got off 76 to get gas at Rt. 143, but there was nothing there. Took Old Rt. 22 parallel to 76 towards Allentown, and no gas stations there, either!
The car read zero for 4 miles. I've gone +7miles in the past, so I knew I was pushing it. Got to Krumsville Rd - Rt.737 and there was no gas station there, either! Luckily, there was someone in Dietrich's Meats and Country Store, and they had a gallon of gas in their shed! What a nice selection of meats, cheese, great people! They tried to give me the gas! Forced them to take $10. Barely made it to HamFam to get the ticket in time. Wish I stayed and put faces with ID's.
Next time I'll plan a little better.
Dave
It's been about 10 years since I ran out of gas, trying to push it to get to work without stopping to fill up because I was running late. Needless to say I was VERY late after I walked a mile to the next gas station, bought a 1G gas can, filled it up, walked a mile back to my truck, then drove it to the station to fill up. Sorry about your luck!
Here are the pictures from the Forum Breakfast and a few at the show.

We should have gotten her name and asked for her again next time! She was the best waitress we've ever had there.

It was Amy. Didn't get the last name. I agree, though, we should try to get her every time. Not one single unhappy customer.
We should also ask for our u shaped table back with more room.
Yes, the private room was preferable.
So did anybody get anything good? I got a Swift Hot Box reefer for $35.
Thanks for the pics........looks like a blast!

Yep, the other room was a lot nicer with the single larger seating area.
The HB Reefer was a good buy at $35.
Looks like it was a great time!!!
Not sure the manager was aware of our usual room arrangement. It was, however, a good time with some old faces and new. No sure but I think this might have been the tenth year for the OGR breakfast...that's 20 events. Thanks to the guys who really had to find the thread which was moved to the announcements section.
And thanks to the guys at ATMA for another great train meet.

And thanks to you, Chuck, for organized another great breakfast!
WOW!!! 20 events!!! And I've only been hosting 3 bandit meets. I wonder who's gonna carry on with my "new tradition" that's just in its infancy... After all, I am running out of things to sell.

All that money in your pocket...I'm sure you bought some stuff that might end up at the Bandit Meet in 5 years.
Some nice pictures from the local newspaper.
Took me long enough to find this. Why was it moved to here?
Chuck has been a bad boy!
