I just completed a train station and switch tower from Altoona Model works. I usually don't work on it until the snow flies, but I did it for the grandsons. They enjoy running the train and helping add a little paint to the project. I bought the kits from Mercer Junction.

...and if the grandsons did the painting on the station.....THEY"RE HIRED!!! Send 'em over!! Nice aged/weathered look!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing Altoona's kits at York. I've tried most of the other manufacturer's products...but not this brand............yet! This may be the time!

Both Altoona and that outfit in W. Va., that does all the logging structures, have nice

grain elevator kits I would already own, except they are expensive. I look at Altoona's

at York as I walk by.
