I searched the forum but did not see much about the fire tablets. Will the DSC App work with the fire tablets?

Maybe they could give a better idea of how difficult it is to do?

Pretty sure Kindles aren't supported devices.
Some have posted links to procedure to get a fully functional Google Play store on their kindle devices to allow for purchasing the "Standard" and "Premium" upgrades. I tried these procedures on my two kindle devices and wasn't able to get it to work. I think the Kindle may work with the DCS App fully if it is "rooted" but I'm not willing to do that with mine knowing that any slight wrong move while doing this may turn my Kindle into the new and unimpressive "Kindle Paper Weight".
Some have gotten to work, good for them. I couldn't and it may be a bigger headache than what you want to deal with.
Sounds like something I do not want to mess with.

A while back I listed some Samsung tablets I have that run DCS perfectly. I have sold the 7" tablet already...
"I have a few SAMSUNG tablets that are in perfect condition and would make a great DCS controller with the WIU and any of the MTH wifi apps. Apps installed to illustrate capability, but tablet will be reset to factory new condition before I send it to you... free Google Play store account will let you set up the DCS app easily"
