Never had a bad meal on the SWC on any of my trips. I have a realistic view of what to expect......but I find most times they are above average in my experience.

The menu deal sounds good, but I'm basicly a meat & potatoes man.  I do not like any fancy "things" or "garnishes".  Maybe if I finally do get to make my trip, picking up some fresh fruit here & there might be a good idea.  Kind of an emergency bag lunch program.

No trendy food here.........Check my blog at the bottom of each post. You will see I was boring at meal time. Big burger at lunch and steak and potato at dinner. Never disappoints !!  And at breakfast I do a ala cart.....just some eggs scrambled and fried potatoes bacon.   And I do know where I can jump off the train at a stop and buy things I NEED.....like a Diet Coke!! (none on the train!)
