O.K I thought I had seen it all. I guess not. Just for the fun of it, bearing no relation to O gauge..but...Check out the crazy helix. Certainly a conversation piece. Might be a good introduction to the hobby for kids. Don't tell anyone but I think its way cool.

Why not? The Brio style trains have motors and a style all their own. I have one or two saved from when my kids were younger. For future use.

That's some rather neat stuff. Any idea where I could get my hands on some? I bet my 1 year old would love it. And I'd feel much better about him knocking those over than my O gauge trains.
I think it's cool too......I have a ton of Tomy trains.....never thought about outside!
After viewing this video I have thoughts of dumping all my O Gauge stuff and going with Tomy (kind of like Walt Rapp did except he went to tinplate). I'd like to model the town of Sakit in the Indian province of Uttar Pradesh. It will be called -- wait for it -- Sakit Tomy!
I like it. That split-level helix and the bridge-on-a-grade were great. I hope that guy uses rechargeable batteries or he'll go broke.

And I thought running O gauge in the garden was exotic. Wrong. Those little engines seemed to have a lot of traction, more so than what I have. Theres another video out there in internet land where someone set up a rig in some pretty deep snow and piled it up to resemble mountains and ran the critters right through it.
I guess the price is right..never saw this type of train before..My first reaction was..What the heck is this?

That was a fun video, but all the time I was thinking I wouldn't want to be drinking coffee in the dining car! Yes, the double thread helix is a hoot and well thought out.
