Actually not offered by any others in O, as far as I know, and definitely not of that high level of quality.
To tell you the truth, if I had been starting over in O just a few years ago, I likely would have focused on building a 19th Century railroad equipped, most likely, with Dave's SMR products exclusively. Beautiful stuff!
The products which SMR trains produces are truly works of art. No one else is doing motive power of the 1800's the way SMR Trains does them.

Our local friends at BTS offer some car kits......but agreed SMR makes great products. I too could see a 19th Century layout....bur my ADHD prevents me from staying with anything long....era, road name, steam, diesel.......
No one, and I mean no one, puts as much effort and attention to detail and accuracy into their products as Dave.
