"An Important Announcement From O Gauge Railroading and Railroading In America Magazines.....We are joining forces to promote the O gauge hobby!  Each magazine will independently contribute articles and other content via guest authors and contributors which will appear in both OGR and RIAM magazine's print and digital editions.  In addition, there will be regular cross-postings on our social media sites with content of interest related to our hobby providing you with even more value and reading enjoyment!

Because the RIAM staff is very young and are contributing members of the OGR forum,  they bring a fresh and contemporary view to our hobby.  O Gauge Railroading Magazine is very excited about this new venture and proud to be associated with Railroading In America Magazine.  We look forward to their youthful contributions and perspectives on the O gauge hobby as well as the hobby in general.

Subscribe to both OGR and RIAM and you'll enjoy your hobby even more!  The entire staff of both magazines appreciate your support!"

Thanks!

Hi guys!  I'm Evan Cihlar, the President and CEO of Railroading in America Magazine.  I'm very excited to partner with OGR magazine so we can continue enhancing the reading experience for OGR and RIAM.  I would like to thank everyone at OGR, especially Rich Melvin and Alan Arnold for their support and dedication to our magazine and making this partnership come true.  I would also like to thank everyone at our magazine: Garrett Monnin, Max Harris, Jonah Collins, Walker Wood, Adam Zappacosta, Clayton Cook, and Carlos Llamas for providing not only myself with a great opportunity, but everyone else in our magazine.  You guys truly are the best!  They are the ones that make our magazine what it is today... an awesome, railroad enthusiast written magazine that I am proud to tell anyone about.  I'm very excited for what this will bring to the O gauge hobby and the railroad industry in general!

Thanks for your support!!

Is RIAM issued in both print and digital editions? I can't seem to figure it out from the RIAM website.

Mark

Yes.  Digital editions are $1 and printed copies range in prices.  I would recommend getting our BOGO offer, so you can get a great deal on Edition 5 and 7.  Edition 7 releases tomorrow.  Here is the BOGO DEAL!

If you don't want to place your order online, you can call our sales department at 888-204-0087.

Well I NEVER herd of this magazine. Is this a digital only mag? Is there a geographic location they focus in on [like railpace for northeast RR's] or are they Nationwide like trains?

Hi there! Railroading In America is both a digital and print magazine. We are a relatively new company so it is understandable that you haven't heard of us, we are still trying to gain headway in the industry. We focus on all locations in the United States, as we have writers from New Mexico all the way to Northeastern Pennsylvania. We also focus on model railroads. Visit our website for more information, and let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks Ed!  We appreciate your support.  Edition 5 will arrive in a couple days and we'll send out your edition 7 copy when all of the other pre-orders are sent out.  Thanks again!

I just made my order.  Easy as pie!!

I am very excited about seeing what Evan, Garrett, Max, Jonah, Walker, Adam, Clayton, and Carlos are doing!  Any time I see young folks interested in trains and model trains, I want to give support.  Thank you Alan and Rich for working out this deal!  I think it is way bigger than any new catalog from any of the O gauge manufacturers by a long shot!

Thank you for the compliments, Mark!  They are very much appreciated by everyone at the magazine.  It's been a long road of hard work and we are very excited to see what it holds for not only OGR and RIAM, but for our readers and OGR's readers.  Thanks again for your support and we hope you like what you'll find in your mailbox soon!

Young folks should  be a welcome addition and may bring a new  perspective to the hobby. It may end up doubling the reporting effort of both magazines and the content of both model railroad publications should benefit. Best of luck on this new venture.

Thank you for the kind words Dennis!

Any urge to merge?  Maybe one joint issue?

No urge to merge.  There will be articles from OGR staff in Railroading in America Magazine's editions, and articles from our organization in OGR's editions.

Sounds like a "winning arrangement" - best of both worlds - hope it all becomes a successful venture.

Got my copy in the mail two days ago.  Pretty impressed and honestly a bit jealous.    Whish I would have had the focus and passion so early in life.   Look forward to seeing more.   Great job!

Glad you got it!  You'll be receiving your Edition 7 copy in just a few days.  They are scheduled to arrive by August 3.  Thanks for the compliments and we hope you enjoy Edition 7!
