I was looking for a way to cover up the ugly gray motor covering in my subways.  Doing a search on the forum I found a few examples from Alex M and Sirt.  Two guys I have never met but they took the time to make a post of what they did.  Reading their techniques and adding some of my own I was able to cover that grey motor.

1.  Found a decent interior picture of a subway car online.

2.  Found more pictures of people especially people facing backwards to make it look like they are next to the window facing forward.  Also added a few more pictures to add some comic relief.  Notice Dexter Morgan and Walt from Breaking Bad.  Using Photoshop I was able to add these new photos to make a whole new scene.

3.  Cut out the photos and glued them to the gray cover.

4.  Put top back on and tested.

Thanks everyone, compliments coming from some of you mean a lot considering the talent that so many have on here.  Since getting back into this hobby about 9 months ago I have learned so much from so many on here.  Now I can go ahead and start working on covering up the motors on my other subway sets also changing out some of the people to give each set a unique look.

No, actually that guy was one of the original people that was on the image I found, but your right he does look like Denzel.  I'm actually working on my next car now and trying to think of a theme.  I think one side will have my favorite athletes growing up in street clothes...Cal Ripken, Michael Jordan, and for the diehard Browns fan in me Bernie Kosar.
