Another ID Help Request on MTH

This wa the closest I found on the MTH site. It was from the Premier line issued back in the 2002 catalog. The one above looks like it was custom painted. Are you sure it's an MTH? When Williams briefly stopped production, a company called Custom Trains produced some FM Train Masters. Don't recall seeing that which is a yellow/blue warbonnet with Kodachrome decals. Definitely looks like a custom paint job.

Are you sure this is MTH? The railings look like Lionel. Did you look on the bottom for any markings or labels?

You know, it seems that I always end up looking like a fool when I ask these questions, like the last time I didn't see and on/off switch for a tender bell.  Well, those who said it is a Williams product are correct, I have never had anything made by Williams. This was in the MTH box and I made a bothersome assumption as the crane and tender behind it in the photo are MTH, I thought that this was also.  I should learn to stick with Lionel Postwar and forget about this stuff, or look a little more carefully before I post questions. But as always, the Forum came through.  I'll try searching it under Williams.

Don't feel like a fool. If it came to you in an MTH box it's a perfectly logical assumption that it's an MTH product. You learn by asking questions. Look at it this way, you asked a question and now you know the answer. If you hadn't asked you still wouldn't know, so you're ahead of the game. People guess wrong about who made something all the time. As they say in the islands: "No big ting, mon."
