I have not tried the snow plow yet? I have mounted it on my CSX (Presidential) ES and had to watch what coupler I used to clear it.

I did get some two rail engines in the past with three rail snow plows that never fit so I need to check them don't I.

I do like them. They are detailed nicely and look the part for me. I noticed a rough cast or grain on the top, down the middle, and then noticed further that it is on all my ES models. It must be on purpose?  The soundset seems great to me so far.

I have not tested the sound more as I was considering selling one and just got the second. I thought I got a great deal on the first. I couldn't pass up either. Darn diesels keep multiplying. Got many more and haven't even put them on the rails yet. Seems like everyone's selling all at once? I haven't even run the GE Evo Demo much.

Maybe I can open a store sooner than I ever thought!

The CSX building I made. It is supposed to be a model of the fueling shed at Selkirk, NY with a third track shoved in the middle. The stuff against the wall is just sitting there including two types of sanding towers. My homemade fueling racks are inside the shed.

Here's the sound and snow plow installed:

The plow fits good...BUT all of the MU hoses don't fit through the holes in the plow because of a spacing issue that I've complained about over and over. I used a standard length Kadee and cut the trip pin off so it didn't rub on the plow. If you were to run this unit backwards, coupled to a cut of cars, you might have to use an extended length Kadee or cut both trip pins off so that they don't hit the plow and cause a derailment in the curves.

This is my Dad's engine, and is run as a lead unit only, so the MU Hoses are tucked behind the plow, and the coupler length is not an issue. This is the Scale wheel version, but we obviously run it in a 3 rail environment. I also swapped out the 2 rail wheels for Hi-rail wheels for reliability through all the Ross Switches. Sure looks good with fixed pilots and Kadees.

Not trying to Hi-jack your thread Joe, just wanted to give Swafford some info on that NKP unit based on the questions he asked.

Chris the Cab Forward is the Lionel TMCC version from a few years ago.

Don't ever need to say that here with me, I like having good help! Take the helm sir!

I enjoyed your video too. I didn't respond because I have the engine here.
