Are any dealers upgrading (or offering to upgrade for free) their current stock of ver. 1.0 Lionchief Universal Remotes to version 1.1 when they're sold?

It would be a smart thing to do.   

I've heard rumors that JR Junction is... I'm sure if you contact any vendor and politely make the request in regards to your order, they would be more than happy to oblige.

Imperial Trains are all upgraded as of today. Come in Saturday’s with yours and they’ll do it while you look around. 

So only two dealers are reported doing this - JR Junction and Imperial Trains? So not hearing from the more active forum advertisers such as Chas. Ro, Mario's Trains, Pat's Trains, TrainWorld/TrainLand, or Nassau Hobbies -- does their lack of commenting to this post suggest they won't be upgrading LionChief 1.0 Universal Remotes to ver. 1.1 when customers buy them?

We sent all of ours back to Lionel and should get them back shortly.

Any you order from Charles Ro have been updated.

I suspect most if not all dealers would upgrade them.  It only makes sense.  I had no doubt Marty F would take care of Ro's.  It looks like Ken and the TW crew are getting theirs done as well.

With DCS, Legacy, and now LC keeping track of versions on the shelf can be difficult.  I have to suspect that most vendors if asked can make sure the latest code is on any product before being shipped.

Yes, this week we will get all our in-stock supply of Universal Remotes upgraded via our Lionel Service Station.  Any of our valued customers who walks through our door with a remote will get theirs updated too....Absolutely no charge.
