Although Lionel may do a similar set to go with the 2245 type diesels, the open vestibule 2400 series cars will never be reproduced.
I have a fairly long list of potential reruns but the inference is this is about Lionel product, and not minority manufacturers. I don't want to stray too far from the focus. I know that Noma and AF made talking railroad stations and I know that a lot of the new stuff ( on board sounds) made such a product redundant, unless you run conventional. I don't know if one is made now that uses a simple button rather than a software key.
