I have several TMCC engines that I had upgraded with EOB cruise, and until now the EOB has worked well.  I just had EOB installed in my Lionel PRR T-1 and the chuff selection function is not working.  It seems like I can set the EOB to one, two or four chuffs per revolution through the chuff set command (ENG+##+AUX1+AUX1+5), but the chuffs do not change and stay at two chuffs per revolution.   The EOB is responding to the command because each time I input the command the EOB cycles through one, two or four horn blasts indicating it is setting the chuff rate, but the engine’s RS4 board is not responding.  For those who have worked with EOB before, any ideas?

Thanks.

DL&W Pete,

Thanks.  However, I found out the hard way a while back that Weaver no longer does EOB.  I gave them two engines to upgrade with EOB to get four chuffs/revolution but they had just switched to ERR, so I paid for a tune-up and shipping and still have two engines with 2 chuffs.  Anyway, they are out of the EOB business so I'm looking for someone who has experience with EOB who hopefully can answer my question.

More than likely the micro switch was never disconnected and transferred to the EOB. The railsounds is still getting the chuff trigger off the micro switch off of one of the driving axles

Question,

Which EOB did you have installed?  The motherboard EOB or the plug n play EOB?

If you have the wireless tether you have the plug n play EOB.  Shoot me a email and will discuss this further
