I have the official Lionel tray to catch the coal on the 397 coal loader dump car and like anyone else I know they don't catch all of the coal when the dump car unloads. It goes all over the place.
Does anyone else make a tray, or has anyone come up with a DIY version on the forum?

I have FOUR of them art. My trains are from when I was a kid in the early fifties. But the Lionel coal bin trays don't catch the projectiles from the coal loader. Picking the fake coal out from between the tracks is not fun.
