I am looking for brass [or metal] stantions that can be bored and hold a rod for Weaver tank cars. Its the lower rod that goes between the end platforms and supports the side access ladder to the tank car manhole on the roof. I believe PSC had two lengths of stantions being sold. I can bend piano wire to make the railings and just need the support side stantions.
And yes about a month ago someone graciously sent me some extra 2 rail tank car kits. They are so nice that it would be a SIN
to rob them of their parts...even the undecorated model!
FWIW, I recently purchased a 50 Ft. Weaver tank car decorated for OGR. This was a late production seeing that Weaver models slightly up'd their game by installing wire instead of molded plastic on the tank roof platform.
