I hope I put this in the correct forum topic.

I have a set of Kline Heavyweight Passenger cars that had the Railroad Name and car names removed.  I desire to re-label them with water slide decals that I would create using an ink-jet printer.  Has anyone done this?  I would probably have to use an acrylic clear coat (spray on) over the decal to insure adhesion.

Any ideas?,  suggestions?  The RR Name I am looking for is Union Pacific in a light grey lettering.

What Jeff said.

I have an Epson Workforce 500 printer and can change the settings so more ink is applied to make it more opaque, but it's trial and error most of the time.  I tried to make some Dulux Gold decals and just couldn't get them opaque enough.

The big problem (I'm doing some Champ decals now) I have with O scale decals is getting all the air bubbles out, due to the decals being large.  I've used a pin to get the air to escape and applied Solv-A-Set and Micro-Sol about 3 times and they're still there.
