Andrew, thanks for that update. I checked the Atlas-O website and noticed they updated the ETA customer delivery date to August 2013 (from the prior date of July 2013). Unfortunately, they did NOT provide a container shipping date or an Atlas-O shipping date to dealers. So until they do that, this may all be wishful thinking.
I hope they prove me wrong!

Been waiting for the gundersons for God knows how long. My LHS who I talked to today still says they will be delivered in the 4th qtr and he just got off the phone with AtlasO.
Now when are my AtlasO CZ diners and obs coming?
When they say shipping now, the Atlas spokesman on facebook must literally mean shipping across the Pacific Ocean.

I guess I don't know enough about the Atlas Facebook page, and I can see they posted photos of the Gunderson cars. But where did they actually indicate the cars are shipping in July? I missed that... not to mention again that the website still doesn't quote a container ship date or Atlas O's ship date to its dealers. Those columns remain blank.

Atlas-O hasn't yet announced the observation, have they? I thought the last CZ announcement included just the diners and another sleeper. So delivery of the observation must be at least a year out.

Atlas continues to be very inconsistant in updating there delivery schedule, the most reliable site to watch is the container shipping schedule [atlasrr.com/containershipping.htm] 6/15/13 is latest posted,generally that date is 4 weeks away from shipping to dealers and individuals who buy direct from Atlas.
Exactly my point, hibar. Until a container ship date is posted, I think the Atlas-O ETA customer delivery dates are very much like Lionel's online shipping schedule -- it's wishful thinking.
My money is still on these cars arriving (in customer hands) 4Q2013 at the earliest, although I'll admit to being happy if Atlas-O proves me wrong.

your right, Atlas has not announced the obs. Yet but I think you may be right about it being another year or longer before they are delivered. I just hope they do it and get it right.
