Atlas switches seem to loose power after some use, running 21 switches at a steady 18 volts. Some stop working all tgether. Others wor fine. Also new mth 060 goes dead on a couple of 054 switches.
Lee, I believe you are speaking about Atlas switch tracks or turnouts, not Atlas electrical switch controllers, which is the thread I started this evening. Arnold
Most people that have worked with Atlas"O" turnouts power all three rails at all three entrances to the turnout to alleviate the issues you're seeing. Early production had undersized wiring between the gaps in the rails; even later production has what I consider under-sized wiring considering we have the capability of supplying 15 amps of current on our rails....
Short answer, your problems can be fixed, but you'll likely need to I install some jumpers along the way.
