August 23 - North Penn O Gaugers at Lansdale Founders Day

The North Penn O Gaugers modular model railroad club will once again be set up in Lansdale's Fairmount Fire Company for Founders Day in Lansdale on August 23 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. We hope you can stop by for a visit.

A lot going on throughout the town of Lansdale all day that day. Including (full size) train excursions featuring the train from the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad. The Reading Railroad Technical Historical Society will have a presence there. And a BIG fireworks display in the evening that gets launched in the park that is directly across the street from our own Henning's Trains.

The Fire house is100 vine st LANSDALE PA 19446

I will be running my PRR Q-2 that I have built up and the Lionel PRR E-8s with trailer blazer passenger cars.

I don't know what the other guys are running.

Sorry I missed out on the festivities. I'd emailed you when I learned organizers of a municipality near my area had rescheduled their community fun day and fireworks show to today because of the inclement weather yesterday. So when I hadn"t heard back from you I unfortunately assumed your town did likewise.

I'd enjoyed last year's immensely and was looking forward to this years. Oh well, hopefully in 2015 or maybe I'll visit the club one Sunday or Monday this Fall. One of those days better than another?
