Paul, nice REA panel truck! It will look great on your layout!

Ok guys, I had a problem with my Grayhound bus station, but got it figured out! Here is a photo, now all I have to do is save up for some buses!

And this is for Capetrainman, so he knows the lights work! LOL

I know it shows the whole town, but I figured while I was at it, why not! LOL

Mike, that green MG stands out in that photo! It looks like a '53 TD, but it has spoke wheels, and that would make it a '51 TC. Either way it brings back memories of my dads '53 MG TD! Plus, it looks great in front of the Greyhound bus depot. And I spy an Austin Martin on the right. You must like British cars?! ;-) Buses? Maybe a British double decker painted in Greyhound colors! Just joking! Your layout is looking awesome.

Okay so here's the latest batch of vehicles;IMG_0613IMG_0614The "Lego" sub will be discussed in another topic.  The REA step van is an  American Heritage Models with the Wrigley's Spearmint advertisement on the side.  While there is no indication of scale it does have No. 0143 on the bottom.  Comparing it to the other vehicles pictured it's a good bet that means 1/43 scale.  Next in line is a Maisto 1/43 scale VW Bug. It just came out of a box of my 27 year old son's MicroMachines.  The black one was the 1/48 scale, $1.98 Walmart special discussed previously.  I've been looking at the brown TONKA everyday since April.  It always struck me as being to small, until I flipped it over a few days ago and saw it was a Maisto 1/48 scale from 2001.  Compared to the $1.98 special it's the same size.  So now I've got 5 vehicles that need detailing this winter.

Artie, great looking job on the decals!

Paul, wonderful photo of the guys at work trying to get things ready for the Tie replacement job at hand!  Artie, that's not a helper sitting there, thats the motivation to hurry up and get the job done so they can go have a drink and meet some of her other girlfriends!

I know its not an Auto or Truck, but I finished building my Piper Cherokee plane and didn't like the white so I painted it red!

I wish I would have known that CA Accelerator would cause the plastic glass to fog things would have turned out better! I got a little ahead of myself in a hurry to get it mounted I forgot to put the decals on. Just another to do project! LOL As you can see I had the same problem with the glass on the helicopter!

Sometimes it fogs, other times it doesn't - no way to tell for sure that I know of.

In the future, you can try coating the windows with a clear acrylic like Future Floor polish before applying the accelerator.

At this point you can try rubbing the window with some gritty toothpaste or plastic cleaner/polish (like Meguiar's) and apply with a cotton swab to the windows; let dry and rub off with another swab. Might take a few applications. When you've got it as good as you're going to get it, apply a thin coat of vegetable oil on the window and leave.

Hi Richie, thanks for all the information, the  problem is I would have to cut it open to get to the inside. That being said they will stay as is, but will do better on the next one! LOL
