they only work on engines after about mid 2013, if I remember correct.
Press and hold Aux 2 brings up an expanded lighting menu. It will access lighting features only if your locomotive is equipped with them. Experiment.
Rule 17 is when at a stop the headlight dims. There are 3 settings for this. Off/On/Automatic. Off, nothing will happen at a stop. On will dim the headlight all the time until you press off which will brighten it. Automatic (press and hold On until the display reads Automatic) will operate this way...when at a stop the light will dim on its own, when moving it will brighten. To get out of automatic push off
