I need to order some Williams by Bachmann parts, but haven't been able to access their site for almost a week, but get an "Unable to connect" message whenever I try. Does anyone know if their server is down for some reason? Or if something more serious, like going out of business suddenly, is going on??

I doubt Bachmann is going out of business. Probably server issues.
Their online store is working, as is Bachmann UK.

I have found the same problem, however, if you go to this link Bachmann Trains Online Store! you can navigate to other areas of the web site including parts.

The online store must be on a seperate server. Clicking the 'Backmann Hompage' link at the bottom of the store page gets the 'Unable to connect' message. At least there's a contact number at the bottom of the page, so I'll give them a call once they open for business to see if I can find out what's going on.
Called the main Bachmann number to report the problem, but there was no option on the menu for the IT folks. So I hit the option for 'Marketing', figuring they would work pretty close with IT, and got dumped to voice mail. Left a message about what was going on, and suggested they contact IT about it. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Len2,
Why not send them a letter, which they would have had by now and maybe you would have your parts. I would have enclosed a check and asked for a credit.

Just backdoor to the parts page
First go here
https://shop.bachmanntrains.co...=index&cPath=258
Don't worry that it's the HO page......
Then at the very bottom click on >order Parts
This will take you to the parts ordering page

above address comes up as invalid on my iPad
I love the way you technical guys jump in and find solutions. Bravo
Looks like everything except the 'Forums' is back up now, so got my parts ordered. Going to the 'Forums' gives a "Servers in maintenance mode" message. So maybe my message to the marketing folks got passed to IT.
