I have a curved Ross Custom switch, and an Atlas #5 back to back. My DCS is a ten on the Ross switch, but the signal is a two on the Atlas. I tried three different Atlas switches, and several different engines, with the same result. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,

Andy

Sometime too many feeders  make things worse.   If you're using a terminal block, disconnect one set(just the hot, leave the black connected)  and jumper the insulated joint with alligator clips. Test...I think the best length of a block  is around 25 to 30 feet.  Try disconnecting  another if no improvement. All connections tight?

I don't know how the magic bulb (pass car) exactly works but it does.  One thing  about dcs , a engine carries on with the last command given so  unless the engine is stalling i wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe you can  stick a street light or bulb at that location or even on the terminal block.?.Dcs can do strange things at times.
