Looking for some plugs. Who makes them and what size would I need to buy? I am tired of wiring and re-wiring when I move the TIU around.

I bought mine at Radio Shack, don't know the sku numbers.
I agree with Dave Hikel, the best I have found are the Pamona. I also believe they are the originater of the jack and plug, which, if my recollection is correct, used to be called Pamona Plugs or Pamona Jacks. I will have to check some of my vintage electronics parts books.
Good hardware is the key to quality electronics. That was one of the big differences between Motorola Two-Way radio equipment and all the rest. The hardware.
And that is an excellent point. It seems like too much focus is put on software/firmware these days. many/most of the problems seem to come from hard ware, especially connectors.
I didn't even know you could do this. You plug into the terminal rather than tightening the nut on top of a wire? What a concept.
Had a lug connection vibrate loose at the club last week. Found a place near the club that has the twin banana plugs loose in a bin for about $1.50 each. The only thing to watch for is that the bump on the twin plug is the ground/common. I just wish they were available in more colors.
