WOW!!!!!

If that is what happens off York site . I can't imagine York inside. I have to get ther in the spring
The Wyndham is the place for the discerning Post War and Pre War buyer. Not sure if the nice stuff even makes it to the Fairgrounds. The Reliant Fire Hall is the place for Flyer. Its open during the Fairgrounds meet so again lots of S gauge never makes it to the Fairgrounds. If you like early trains you will miss a lot of them if you skip the bandits not to mention the odd deal on modern trains.

I just took another look at the photos. Isn't that the old Sheraton Holidrome? I thought it was at the Wyndham on the other side of town where we stayed last year.

These motels/hotels crack me up.. they change names like professional spies . It was the Wyndham THIS York....next time?????
Is this bandit meet "scheduled" (certain day/time) or is it a "any of the days" kind of thing?
LEWRAIL, this hotel was originally a Sheraton. Then it was the Holiday Inn (Holidome). Now it's the Wyndham Garden Inn.
MURNANE, That bandit show is Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
Eddie G:
Did you have a to visit any of the other "bandit meet" locations.
If so, what did you see/find ?

GREAT PICS EDDIE--I CAN NOW SEE WHAT I MISSED --MAYBE IN THE SPRING--
Thanks for posting the photos Eddie. Last year I found some odd items I had been looking for there. Couldn't be there this year but sure looking forward to it in April.
Eddie, remember the good bandit shows about 20-24 years ago. To get into the parking lot at the Holidome you had to show your room key. Everyone else had to park in the mall parking lot behind the hotel. Parking at all the shows was tough. The shows today are nothing compared to back in the day.
Wow - wish we just had one of those meets over here in England!!
Fitzhenry is right . .seems odd talking about "the good old days" such a short? time ago, when we were out at dawn rooting through the piles under the tent behind the "Billy Budd". Now pickup's seem slim
I can remember those shows starting before daylight. Many people wandering about with flashlights looking at and under the tables. Real deal. Having been around in the good years of bandit shows, I can go to or not go to them today. Give me the Orange hall and I am a happy train guy.
That is quite the show! Great to see the photos.
