Just bought a DCS system, guess I should buy Barry's book. What do you prefer Paperback or electronic?
Anyone have the link? Or does anyone have a used copy they are looking to sell

I'll sell mine. It's the first revision...
I got the electronic version, that way I can do searches.
I'd get the electronic so updates are easier to get.
Chris,
Anyone have the link?
Welcome aboard! The link is:
If you want to put it on your iPad, the eBook with the GoodReader app does a good job. Further, the eBook is fully searchable.
The exact same content is in both of the 2nd editions. Note also that the 2nd edition of the book has a lot more stuff than does the 1st edition, e.g., 215 pages vs. 168 pages.
Barry
I guess the ad finally paid off? LOL!. It's irony is a funny lady! : )
My take on the decision between paper and electronic is that it depends on what you find most convenient and least irritating. I just find having to unlock the electronic version each time I open it to be annoying so I'd just suggest considering whether you would feel the same before deciding which to buy.
I'm not bringing this up to beat a dead horse or to criticize Barry. Barry has already given his reasons for doing things this way and I respect that.
Get the electronic version, you can always print out the pages you want and put them in a binder. The ability to search the electronic copy at the computer is nice.
If I have this on my desktop computer, can I download it to a Kindle???
Bob,
If I have this on my desktop computer, can I download it to a Kindle???
Only if your Kindle can read a password-protected pdf file.
Come on Barry, I was trying to peddle my old version so I could buy the updated!!!
Just kidding, I knew Chris wouldn't buy mine. Good luck getting a nickle out of that one.
Jim
