When it was announced, TrainWorld already said they had a lot of orders. I believe Ryan said they were going to increase the initial run.
The good news is that the Lionel Store doesn't show "Sold Out".

Pre-ordered with deposit on July 22nd 2022 - longest lead time ever for me!
My vendor provided this information to me on July 8, after I asked if my order might be shipped in August.
"First shipment of Base 3 is due here later this week and if container arrives as scheduled, we plan to do a release at that time.
The 2nd shipment should be right behind it and our hopes are to do another release towards end of the month.
That means the earliest we could receive them is next week. I don't know how many we will receive on the first shipment, it may not be enough to cover all orders.
We will be in touch as soon as we receive the item. No dealers have them yet
IDK sometimes where the information comes from that people ask, but what I'm showing you is from Lionel support directly.
Your patience is appreciated."
Great News, and I’m excited that I made the early order BTO, a long time ago. Now, I imagine all the folks out in Omaha, Nebraska at the Lionel Collectors Clubs National Convention are getting to see this product in action. Thank you Lionel for always making our hobby more fun. Happy Railroading Everyone
I haven't ordered yet but I'm pretty excited to see this come about. It's going to be a great system I think!

I'm excited, too! Is mine in this 1st run? I've started wiring my new layout, and I need the Base3 to operate my newly-installed LCS Sensor Tracks, and of course, my trains.

Each of the pallets has 48 boxes
In other pics I've seen, that front row is at least 6 pallets wide, by 4 pallets deep.
That's a lot of product.
