Hello all, I have an Odyssey Steamer and the TMCC features do not work, no command control. The front green marker lights "flicker". The engine will run in conventional mode only. Smoke, whistle forward/reverse all work normal in conventional. I tried to reset the engine following the user manual "AUX 74" steps to reset engine and nothing nada. I removed the tender shell and look for loose wires/boards and reseated boards, I did the same with the boiler shell, still not working in command. I bought this engine used and now know why the owner sold it. Any ideas?

Gents, thanks for getting back to me. I opened her up again and the antenna is firmly connected to the radio board. The handrails on the boiler have all the insulation, so that looks good. I'm sure it's the R2LC board. I have a friend in SoCal who is a MTH auth repairman and knows a local Lionel repair tech who might have some used boards for sale. So I'll try that route for now. Thanks again!



P.S. John, are you going to York this year in October and DCS user (Eagles Nest) get together?

I go to York every chance I get, this year will be no exception.   BTW, I have R2LC's.
