I am constructing some horizontal jet fuel tanks for a customer. The tanks are 12 feet in diameter by 40 feet long in scale. This is on the large side for a horizontal tank. Here are some progress photos
The tanks are 3 inches in diameter. I used .060” ABS sheet for the ends. I sanded the edges round so they blended in to like like flanged only flat heads. That is typical for these type of tanks.
Plastruct discontinued the saddles for 3inch diameter tubing so I made my own.
