I didn't see anything posted recently, but I sent my Triplex in for the four digit fix 4 weeks ago. I just got notice today that it is on its way back. The repair note just said replaced board in tender.
So once again if you have a Triplex get it back to Lionel soon. They even paid postage both ways!
(BTW totally impressed myself with proper use of for, four, and 4. My high school English teacher would be amazed)

They must be doing as a group, i sent mine in 3/1, and received a work complete yesterday 3/27… same, 4 digit on a triplex, note said replaced board.
Lionel still has my brand new Legacy Berkshire (no sound) and City of Miami (no smoke) that also went in 3/1.
The real bummer is that i received a brand new vision big boy last night and it wont move in command and control or conventional. Probably going back today…guessing it’s the wire discussed in other strings.
i love the product, obviously but I am having much better luck with MTH engines….purchased 12 new over last year…no problems.
Im becoming an expert at shipping… on first name bases at the UPS store. I just hate all these beautiful engines have to be opened up…concerned about creating future issues
I recently had to send in the tender from my N&W Class A for repair. Do they let you know they have received items for repair? I worry about it getting lost in transit and I have no way to know. Thanks!
Yes. You will receive an email that received. It took a couple days after I knew it was there. Than no communication until they work on. About 4-6 weeks. But they tell you what they did and part numbers and the several notes a couple days later on return shipping. I think they’re busy.
