Bass Pro Shop Lionel Display

Went to Bass Pro Shop near Richmond, VA and was pleasantly surprised to see this Lionel Display next to the Santa Picture area.

They had about a dozen Lionel Bass Pro Shop RTR sets lined up by the layout and two or three kids taking turns using the transformer.

Their price was $249. Liked the layout!!

They also had 2 Remote Control trucks available to play with but none of the kids seemed interested, and a large slot car layout with parents and kids waiting their turn to play.

Really Nice! Love the fact that Kids were actually PLAYing with it. Heading over to BPS in Ankeny this afernoon. Set looks pretty good for a starter. What usually comes with Santa's Flyer? The Nascar flatcar looks like a bonus on their web site.

Saw an identical display here in Iowa today. Yes it was the most popular attraction in the kids corner of the store. The only thing a bit strange was the absence of the Special Bass Pro Shop Nascar flat car... I am guessing this was because it was too much temptation for little hands. Price today is $249. Pretty good deal considering.
