I am looking for a postwar (Lionel Corp.) Berk or Hudson. I will probably have only one day at York. What do people recommend as the best place to start? I am thinking Blue Hall but if anyone knows better advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Blue and Silver Halls first, then Red and White. there are some postwar dealers in the dealer halls as well, but I would definitely start in the Blue and Silver Halls.

IMHO, you have an equal chance of finding a specific postwar item at a price you are willing to pay in any of the member halls. I wouldn't count out the dealer halls. I have made some nice purchases in the dealer halls too.
If you have your badge and you're there on Thursday at opening, the red and white halls would likely be a bit less crowded. The people that didn't preregister will likely start their quest for your postwar treasure in the blue and silver halls since they will be there to get their badges. That leaves the red and white halls for you to pick over before they get there.
I don't think any of the member halls has an advantage over the others in terms of any era, price, condition, or manufacturer.
