Biannual Thursday Morning Pre-York Breakfast at the Round-the Clock Diner, October 19th

Guaranteed I will be there. I think I'll sport my N&W hat that I got on 2021 on my birthday when 611 was out at Strasburg. It is my daily hat for the week though it only gets the car ride treatment, weekends it gets more fun. Now I just have to decide between pancakes of waffles?

Sure wish I could join you guys, but while I and my travel companion will be having breakfast there (we do every morning of the meet), we have to eat and head out to the Blue Hall to set up.  Maybe I will see some of you there as we are coming or going.

Well I will comment just to get this one back on the front page, Peter!

I will not be attending York, but am happy to report Doc let me loose today from return visits following my second back surgery!  I need to be getting in a little better shape and hopefully see you next year! 

You guys are too early risers!  I've been 4 times before York opens, but you guys are gone by time we get there.  I guess that is because our brains still on Mountain Time.

Looking forward to seeing all again. I will be there early. . . likely even before 7. I am an early riser every day, thanks largely to my dog and to my five-year-old grandson who I see off on the school bus most weekday mornings.

I get up to put my 5 year old granddaughter on the bus too!

Oh no!  My chance to finally meet my friend who has adopted half my overflow roster over the years, and I’m not going!!  I need to rethink this back surgery recovery regimen!!!  Doc told me Monday he is turning me loose from all restrictions (slowly working forward)!  😃

Haha, Mark, yes, I am operating the auxiliary Blackwater Canyon Line on my layout 😁.  I'm sorry that I will not get to meet you in person this time, but I'm so happy to hear you are not under any more medical restrictions.  That is great news!!  I know it has been a long journey. I have a feeling we will be able to meet sometime in the near future.  We will miss you.  Take care!

Disappointed too say I can’t make it in till Thursday evening.  Saw that restaurant on the map when I reserved the motel.  Probably have dinner there when we get into town.

Good spot for a “diner food” dinner…….try to catch a breakfast there. I give their Pumpkin Pecan pancakes 5 stars……..( or maybe I should put the rating system in a York vernacular, 5 Hudson’s   )

I'll second Peter's praise of Round-the-Clock's breakfasts, and he is 110% right about the Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes!   We like the breakfasts there so much that, this York, we will be having breakfast there 5 days in a row!   I can hardly wait!

Their non-breakfast food is also terrific (especially the cakes and pies ).

That's why they have hot coffee and hot tea. Better to warm us up with. I can't wait, I can see my route driving from NJ all the way out to Strasburg then onto York. It is going to be great.

Lisa & I will be close to you guys. Can't wait. This is my last York. Started going 46 years ago. You know how old I am.

My first York adventure!  I will be there with my wife who encouraged me to show up
