Hi does anyone have any idea if plastic billboard frames are available? Just the frame without the billboard insert? If not, what you do guys use for billboards? Has anyone made their own frame?

Would Lionel's 310 billboard frames work for you? Go to eBay and type in Lionel 310. Doesn't matter if you buy stuff on eBay or not, just look at the offerings there to see if these would meet your needs.
310 applies to the plastic frames and then there at the cardboard inserts advertising many different products.

The billboard of the left is what I think are the best made. They were kits that came with two billboards. I printed the Old Gold sign myself. They were made by Berkshire Valley and are still being made by the company they took over. Don't know the name of it but I'm sure someone will. Don

I just made 2 wood billboards out of fireplace matches, popsicle sticks, and a Cracker Jack box. Imagine what a printer might yield. It was about a week or two ago in "what did you do on your layout today". (My copy paste & search are acting up. A very easy project.
Small picture frames work too, depending on the era. Watch your dollar store shelves.
