Here's a quick photo of my recent purchases of the Ives 1134 and Black/Orange 240 cars. I'm still searching for the Olympian black/orange engine but I think this is a pretty good alternative in the meantime.  You might be thinking..thats a strange layout with bars underneath?  My layout board (5x16) is bolted to the wall and the railing.  The railing stops youngsters from falling 8-9 feet to the bottom.  The steps go down to my walk in crawlspace.  Initially I had my O gauge layout up there but it wasn't efficient.  However, with the size of Standard Gauge its a perfect fit.  A good way to use up dead space.  My lovely wife has given me permission to go ahead and build another 5x16 board in the back of the family room for my ogauge layout.  This room is quite odd because the prior owner built this 19x29 room off the back of the house prior to me purchasing it.  Its basically the man cave/ family room. I've also before included a before photo to give you a better idea of utilizing dead space
