I just noticed this for the first time, first let me give you some more information,i have 4 independent loops all powered by separate 180 watt lionel power houses nothing else is powered by the 180 watt power houses, all of my lights are powered from 1 KW transformer,i have tmcc & legacy, the KW is plugged into a power strip along with the adapter for the miller enginering signs & the LCS track, all the power houses are plugged into a separate power strip whenever i power up the power houses, remember that they are all plugged into the same power strip, the green light on the tmcc base comes on as it should,as soon as i turn on the power where the KW,miller engineering signs,&the lcs track are plugged into, the red light on the tmcc base starts to blink constantly,if i unplug the lcs track, the red light stops blinking,it may have been this way all along but i just now noticed it,everything works just fine, but why is the red light blinking with the lcs track plugged in,then when i unplug it the red light stops blinking?,is this normal? I hope i have explained things clear enough, thanks in advance.

Don, I clicked on the link you gave it refers to the legacy base,so out of curiosity i went down stairs & checked the legacy base & while the red light on the tmcc base was blinking, one of the blue lights on the legacy base was blinking,if i unplug the lcs,the red light on the tmcc base stops blinking,& the blue light on the legacy base stops blinking also, plug the lcs track back on & both of the lights start blinking again,is it possible that the lcs track is constantly sending out a signal?
It's normal when using the LCS items. It means they are talking and linked together.
get rid of the power strip and see if anything changes.
some power strips do not have the kind of ground the tmcc/legacy needs.
Bigdodgetrain, I did as you suggested & plugged the lcs track directly into a wall outlet & the result was the same, both the red light on the tmcc base,& the blue light on the legacy base blink ,i am in agreement with sinclair,it is the way these two devices are linked together, like i said before everything works fine,i just wanted to be sure this was normal. Thanks for your help.
